Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making this website and our services usable by everyone, and how to tell us when we fall short.

Last updated: October 18, 2026 · Applies to Grand Advisions, Ontario, Canada

1. Our commitment

Grand Advisions is based in Ontario, Canada and is committed to meeting its obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation. We also aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA for this website, because it is the standard our clients and their customers increasingly expect — and because accessible work is better work.

We treat accessibility as an ongoing practice rather than a one-time project. This statement describes where we are today and how we keep improving.

2. What we have done

  • Semantic structure — pages use real headings, landmarks, lists, and tables so screen readers and keyboard users can navigate by structure rather than by guessing.
  • Keyboard access — interactive elements can be reached and operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator that does not rely on colour alone.
  • Skip navigation — a skip link lets keyboard users jump past the header straight to the main content.
  • Colour and contrast — text and controls are built for strong contrast against their backgrounds, and information is never conveyed by colour alone.
  • Images and icons — decorative images are hidden from assistive technology, and meaningful images and icon-only controls carry text alternatives.
  • Forms — inputs are labelled, related fields are grouped, and errors are announced in text next to the field rather than only in colour.
  • Motion — decorative animation is reduced or removed when your device requests reduced motion.
  • Plain language — policies and page content are written to be understood on a first read.

3. Known limitations

We are honest about what is not yet finished:

  • Some embedded or third-party content — if we add booking tools, video, or mapping later — may not meet WCAG 2.1 AA in its own interface, because we do not control that vendor's markup. We choose accessible tools where a choice exists and provide an accessible alternative on request.
  • Some older documents we published before this review may not yet be available in an accessible format. We will provide an accessible version on request, and we are working through them.

4. Requesting an accommodation

If you need information from this site or our services in another format — large print, plain text, an accessible PDF, or a conversation by phone — just ask. We will work with you to find a format that fits, at no extra cost, and we will not require you to explain your disability in order to receive it.

Support persons and service animals are welcome in any interaction with us. If you need a support person present, let us know so we can plan for it.

5. Feedback and complaints

Tell us when something does not work: GrandAdvisions@gmail.com or 226-966-4264. Describe the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology or browser you were using if you know it.

We acknowledge accessibility feedback promptly and aim to give a substantive response within a reasonable time. If our response does not resolve the issue, we will tell you how to escalate it.

6. How we review this

We review the site against WCAG 2.1 AA whenever we make significant changes, and we carry out a broader accessibility review at least annually. Findings are recorded and addressed in priority order, starting with anything that blocks a task outright. The date at the top of this page shows when this statement was last updated.
